Generation of technology

I don't know about you, but i personally find it hilarious when old people or grandparents try to figure out how to use technology. They are so clueless!
Last Saturday i spent the afternoon with my great grandfather. we were watching sports channel and during a commercial i asked him to change it. So grabs the telephone  and tries to change the channel. Then i asked him to turn on his billion year old computer. he tries to turn it on by repeatedly pressing the escape button. a potato would of been more help.
My grandmother is no better, i have to help her with every little thing she wants to do on the computer, on her cellphone, even with the radio. Last night she was complaining that her phone was broken. She said "The D**** phone doesn't work!!! It completely froze. I killed it! I replied "Grandma you need to TURN IT OOOOOOOONNNNN."
Oh well there is obviously no hope for them.

Christmas tree and presants

The holidays are almost here. The lights, the decorations, the music, the family, the snow, the Christmas tree. Christmas is defiantly one of the most anticipated holidays of the year. Just the whole experience is fun, Getting out the decorations, setting them up, baking cookies, buying presents and wrapping them, and celebrating the holiday with Friends and family around.
Christmas Tree. The Christmas tree is one of most common Christmas decorations. I strongly recommend Buying a real living tree as apposed to a Crappy little plastic ones you buy at wal-mart. yes the real ones cans take a lot of work but if your willing to put in a little time it will pay off. Now, when it comes to decorations and lights for the tree don't go out and buy a 50 dollar glass ornament that will most likely break in the first 30 minutes and try to make some home made ones that will most likely be better than a store bought one. One home made Christmas tree decoration that is way to over used and incredibly tacky is the popcorn string that you would wrap around the tree.
Now, when it comes to the presents under the tree its really critical to get someone something good. With little kids its easy to figure out what they want just have them write a list to Santa and everything will be perfect. But with older kids its way more difficult you have to make hints and guesses to what they want always risking the chance you might get it hopelessly wrong. I suggest gift cards. Gift cards are the perfect present. Its free money for them to go out and by what ever they actually want. If you have a rather large group of friends like i do it can be pretty hard to find the perfect gift for all of them. So secret Santa is the answer to all problems. Write all of the names down in a hat then draw out random names. Bingo now all you have to worry about is 1 person to buy a gift for.
     Merry Christmas

Jelly Bean Flavors

JELLY BEANS!!!  so delicious and so many different kinds. The idea of jelly beans came to life in 1976 in Los Angeles. The very first flavors were Very Cherry, Cream Soda, Tangerine, Green Apple, Root Beer and Licorice.
But now a days there are much more like A&W Cream soda, A&W Root beer, Berry Blue, Blueberry, Bubble Gum, Buttered Popcorn, Cantaloupe, Cappuccino, Carmel Corn, Chili Mango, Chocolate Pudding, Cinnamon, Coconut, Cotton Candy, Crushed Pineapple, Dr. Pepper, French Vanilla, Green Apple, Island Punch, Juicy Pear, Kiwi, Lemon Drop, Lemon Lime, Licorice, Mango, Margarita, Mixed Berry Smoothie, Orange Sherbet, Peach, Pina Colada, Plum, Pomegranate, Raspberry, Red Apple, Sizzling Cinnamon, Sour Cherry, Strawberry Cheesecake, Strawberry Daiquiri, Strawberry Jam, Sunkist Lemon, Sunkist Lime, Sunkist Orange, Sunkist Pink Grapefruit, Sunkist Tangerine, Toasted Marshmallow, Top Banana, Tutti-Fruity, Very Cherry, Watermelon, and Black Berry.
And of course all those flavors made the jelly bean company a lot of money. So to increase the profit they added some crazier flavors. Like Grass, Rotten Egg, Pencil Shavings, Dirt, Ear Wax, Earthworm, Vomit and Bacon. As you can imagine those didn't sell very well.
To Create new flavors you can combine the jelly beans...

2 Blue Berry + 1 Butter Popcorn = Blue Berry Muffin
1 Chocolate Pudding + 1 Toasted Marshmallow = S'mores
2 Sunkist Lemon + 2 Coconut = Lemon Meringue Pie
2 Sunkist Lemon + 2 Cotton Candy = Pink Lemonade

and many more combinations! so please leave a comment and tell me whats your favorite flavors and or combinations.

Primative Fear

So Halloween is almost hear, and if your not really into trick or treating any more you should spend your

hallows eve night at "Primitive Fear". Primitive fear is the coolest, creepiest, most fun place to spend

Halloween.  At only 15 dollars a person for about a full 10 minute walk through you will never be able to

sleep again. The best times to go are around 8 o'clock to midnight where is is pitch dark out side.

Primitive fears highers professional actors from a community theater to do the crazy affects and characters

that make up the haunted house.  When you first walk into the doors of primitive fear you will come across a

booth where you must pay the fee then you will walk through the guiding ropes till you get through the final

entrance. you will go through the door and find you self walking into a room. the scariness starts

immediately.  You walk through the house scene till you reach a jail cell. Twisting and threw the cells while

simultaneously having creepy people and creatures jump out at you. This experience is defiantly worth wild.

So last weekend Alyssa Porras through an awesome party. We played super loud music, ate a crap load of hot wing for dinner, watched a scary movie and had complete free range of the kitchen. Alyssa's house is defiantly the house we are gonna want to spend the night every time. Everything was perfect till people started to get tired.
Amy and gabby fell asleep. Gabby was a peaceful sleeper but every 20 minutes Amy would wake up just to yell at us to shut up cause we were being to loud. we were talking about at a medium noise level. But apparently it was too loud. Of course it didn't help that we were blasting music and singing along all night but that's not the point, who actually sleeps at sleepovers. Your supposed to stay up all night and talk about random crap that no one else would care about.
When we all get together for sleepovers it gets really crazy. We were blasting music, we all had about 30 hot wings each, Sophia hot drunk off of chocolate milk, and we were all having spazz attacks. We all eventually the wall and when we did we got crazy after 3 o'clock everything was a blur. then the next morning we all had sugar rush hangovers. BEST PARTY EVER!!!!

Halloween!!! Yes Halloween is almost here. All the costumes, all the candy, all the  pumpkins, all candy!! Yes i would definitely say that Halloween is definitely one of the most anticipated holidays of the year. Though most people would disagree and say its a worthless holiday not worth celebrating but i completely support Halloween!!! Even though i am to old to trick or treat i still love handing out candy, seeing all the the cute and creative costumes and just hanging out with my friends.
To get ready for Halloween you need to of course DECORATE!!!! decorating is so incredibly fun. being able to decorate your whole house with ghost, goblins, and vampires. And carving pumpkins is a big plus! Going out and picking the perfect pumpkin, Scooping out all the pumpkin guts then carving the perfect design into it but if you decide to do a really elaborate design i suggest you go with the templates you still get a really cool picture and avoid screw ups.
Another huge part of Halloween is picking out the right costume. When picking out a costume go for something original, something that's never been done before. Having a home made costume is great but to avoid all the work go to Seasons greeting or party city for a great variety. So have a happy Halloween!!!

Balloon Fiesta!!!

Oh, Yea the balloon fiesta is about to start! Its one of the many things that make Albuquerque the most unique city in the state. On Saturday October 1st the fun begins.
The fiesta is so wildly popular that it is nearly impossible to find a decant parking spot close by. I mean you could always park some where far away but one of the most practical solutions to solving this problem is to simply drive a short distance to a local shuttle bus the give rides to the Fiesta grounds. You can park in the parking lot get on the bus and drive right in without all of the head ache, line waiting and endless battle for a parking.
If you do decide to go be prepared to spend some money. Everything there is so expensive you could easily spend 60 dollars in the first 3 hours. Well, combined all of the games, prizes, food, jumpers and toys its kinda hard not to. One of the most amazing thing you can experience is to go around night, watch the Glodeo and the fireworks then wake to the Mass assertion the next morning. The Mass Assertion is when every single balloon goes up at one time so that the sky is completely scattered with with different shapes, sizes, and colors of balloons, seeing all of them at the same is completely mesmerizing. So I highly recommend cutting aside time to visit the Balloon Fiesta this year.

state fair

State fair
Yes its that time of year again, the sounds the food the fun. the state fair is back in town !!! I personally love the state fair mostly because i live within walking distance from it but anyway the main attraction for kids and teens my age are the rides.
The rides are the only thing that keep me coming back. There fun and exciting but are they really altogether such a good thing. Those rides at the state fair are designed to be easy to assemble and reassemble so aside from all the fun and excitment the reality of it is that they are a neon death trap.
however the rides arent all bad they are the most exciting thing the fair has to offer (esspecially the sling shot) but what really sucks are the prices.
The prices there are insane. 6$ for a bottle of water, 20$ for a single ride pass and up to 5$ for the suckish little games. I went there with Ayse and together we had around 120$ but we left completely broke  :-(. Everything is just so expensive yet there are around yet there are around 400 to 500 people a day.
Next we have the exibits some of them are really cool like the animal contests but some of the other ones are super pathetic like that snake lady exhibit it was just a stuffed animal snake with a lady whos head was sticking out of a table.
And lastly the noise. I mean it doesnt bothere people who dont live as close as i do but its so incredibly loud and so annoying esspecially and 10 o'clock on a tuesday.
                                                                                                 jharty-whats up
